London: Japanese food and Design Museum

LONDON

DESIGN MUSEUM/ KIKU/ CAMDEN MARKET

Yayy it's me again! In this Easter holiday I've off London for a day and have been staying at my boyfriend's place for a week. Hmm actually I've been to Bicester Village at about two weeks ago as well, but the reason I'm not posting anything about Bicester is because I haven't bought anything from there! Am pretty sad so yeah.. Let's forget it. ;-) And today I'd like to show you all the yummy Japanese food and clothes I bought from Oxford Street! Also some amazing street photos from Camden Market(as it is very near to the Japanese food).

SEN NIN JAPANESE TEPPANYAKI AND SUSHI RESTAURANT

CAMDEN MARKET

DESIGN MUSEUM

And after the lunch and little walk at Camden Market, we continued our busy journey. And yes, the next stop is Design Museum! This time the museum is showing the Designs of the year 2013, and I mainly focused on fashion. Pictures below are what I wanted to show you.

Prada Spring/Summer '12 Ready to Wear Collection, in the theme of 'sweetness'

Giles Deacon Autumn/Winter '12 Collection

Craig Green Autumn/Winter '12 Collection

Proenza Schouler Autumn/Winter '12 Collection

Comme des Garçons Autumn/Winter '12 Ready to Wear Collection

Louis Vuitton - Yayoki Kusama Collection 2012

SHOPPING at OXFORD STREET

At the Oxford Street, I bought more than £100 there. Including this top with the lovely design at the back.

And last but not least, as I've an obsession with candles, I love the light smell candle gives me it makes me feel relaxed and comfortable, I bought this candle for only £6! It smells really good!

KIKU JAPANESE RESTAURANT

We've planned to have Burger and Lobsters for our dinner today, but sadly it's all full when we reached there and we have to wait for at lease 2 hours which is not possible for us to catch the train. As a result we can only choose something to eat nearby. We didn't meant to have japanese food again of course, however there's no proper restaurant around. We only saw a Japanese restaurant which is full of Japanese costumers inside. And believe it or not, IT IS RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! Even it's the best Japanese food throughout the England I can say.

here is the link of the restaurant: http://www.kikurestaurant.co.uk/ check it out!

(sorry the photos of the dinner are current not on my phone, will update it real soon! Cheers x)

Perfumes

PERFUMES

Hi there, just a quick write about myself today. As I'm a fragrance addict and I'm mostly satisfied with what I have right now, I love collecting many different brands of perfume. I bought all of them in regular size like 50ml cause if I like the perfume, I like the bottle of it too! So now I think it's the time for me to think of a new one!! :p Which one you guys think is the best? Mac Jacob? Miss Dior? Prada? Chloé? or Gucci???

First of all, I would like to show you my perfumes that I've already got. (Not much only have 7 to show haha :p)

The Body Shop 'Japanese Cherry Blossom' 50ml

Yes The Body Shop's perfume is the first one that I got. This one is kinda a birthday present from my friend when I was sixteen as my friend knew that I had been wanted to buy for so long.  I used this much at that time, and now every time I spray it or smell it keeps reminding me that period of myself. :)

Elizabeth Arden 'Pretty' 50ml

My second perfume that I own..... Oppps it's not me, it's from mum sorry!:p It's also a present from my relatives since my mum doesn't relly like fragrance so she gave it to me, it's Pretty by Elizabeth Arden. It smells sweet and I liked it so much. Since then, I started having the interest on fragrance.

Diesel 'Fuel For Life Her' 75ml

Hmm Diesel is the third perfume but my first one that bought by myself. The reason that I bought this because I love perfume of course! But somehow I bought this also because of some kinda anniversary with my ex :) as this perfume also have a man's one, I bought both and the other one I gave it to him.

Escada 'Especially Escada' 50ml

I'm addicted at this fragrance it smells so sweet and pretty! I know this perfume when I was doing my summer part time job in a beauty promotion week, I was helping a Japanese make-up brush company. So as a result many beauty product booths are all around me. That's how I met this love Escada!

Dolce & Gabbana 'rose the one' 50ml

This D&G perfume was bought in Korea. The bottle of it is similar to the previous one right? But they have absolutely different smell. The smell of this one is a bit more mature than Escada.

Jo Malone 'Lime Basil & Mandarin Cologne' 30ml

Jo Malone is famed its fragrance, this was by my boyfriend. My boyfriend bought me a surprise gift when I was in a fitting room at Forever 21 in Birmingham, and it's Jo Malone! It's my first Christmas gift he gave me even when it's not yet Christmas. Haha thank you! <3 xx

DKNY 'Be Delicious: fresh blossom intense' 50ml

Here comes to the last one yet I loved most now. Every time I spray this people said good and nice perfume! <3 Good taste right? :)

LASTLY, though I'm pretty happy that I've got all of these so far, it still cannot reach satisfaction that my nose actually told me it's time to get a new one. So which one will you guys recommend?
Tell me your opinion and also if you had the comment about all the perfumes above! :)

with love,
Paris

Shopping for DIY! See what I've bought!

READY FOR MY DIY

Hey how are you guys today? I just submitted my school project and finally can squeeze a little time do my own work. Today's England is a bit cold yet sunny enough. Really hope summer can come faster.......
Anyways, just a quick share with you all about what I've bought today for my DIY! First time!! Am sooo exciting how bout' you? :D

Today I bought three different pieces of fabrics, cream leather, silk and felt. Can you guess what kinda DIY I'm trying to make? haha hits: is a accessories but you cannot wear :)

This is the brother sewing machine that I've also bought today! So exciting I can do loads and loads of DIY from now on then :D

Also I bought a fabric glue and a hot glue gun, cause I saw so many DIY video on youtube they use that to glue the fabrics as well! But I'll try avoid using it as it's not stable.

I went to Coventry market today and found these cute little lace stripes and I bought it as well! Will see what kinda DIY I can made with this lace :)

MODEL: Liu Wen

LIU WEN

Introducing you all one of  China’s brightest fashion stars that I recently found her in H&M The New Icons Spring 2013 Campaign (you probably already know her), and yes she is Liu Wen!

She is a Chinese fashion model who started her modeling career in 2005. Liu caught the attention of the international fashion industry when she shot a Cosmopolitan editorial in clothes designed by Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor and Rolf. Liu Wen is a fixture on the runways of New York, Milan and Paris, walking a total of 49 shows for the Autumn/Winter 2010 season including Alexander Wang, Michael Kors, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo and Balenciaga and shooting editorials with the world’s top fashion photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrenti, Terry Richardson and Dan Jackson. She has been appeared on the cover of Chinese Vogue and Harper' Bazaar.

The adv below is H&M The New Icons Spring 2013 Campaign and personally I like Liu Wen more than those three foreign models. Her appearance looks absolutely amazing.
Do you have the same feeling as well? Drop me a comment tell me what you think! :D

The Oscars 2013

THE OSCARS 2013

Yesterday is the Oscars of this year! I would say Anne Hathaway's pale pink satin Prada column is my favourite over all the actresses. Although some may say this is the worst dress but no!!! She wore the best and was looking absolutely flawless and gorgeous. Her short simple hair style even is a bonus.
